I listened to the audiobook and the narrator did a good job.
This is the first book in a second series - there is the Spellbound series, and the Demonized. I love them both. I've read all of the Spellbound books and was excited to see this spin off.
Robin is a girl I can totally relate to. She's a nerd, she's quiet, she's introverted. And her demon is a pretty awesome character as well.
All in all, I am a big fan of The Guild Codex overall. The author's writing style makes for easy enjoyable reads. Filled with entertainment, humor, and a cast of wonderful and varied characters.
I can't wait for more!

This was very short and fun! For anyone asking there is no romance (yet?) i kinda feel like its leading up there but in the mean time we are focusing on the task at hand and not falling in love with the supernatural.
Okay, this was so so SO good. I really, really, REALLY hope the author continues many books with this character, Robin. Fascinating, I love her and Zyla. Perfection! :)
I love the chemistry between the shy Robin and the stubborn demon Zylas. It also sheds a different light on a character (demon) that we may have only have negative thoughts about which I love!
