Repetitive, and I feel as though the two main characters weren't really fleshed out to the author, I had to go back ANF check to see who's POV I was reading from. There was also no connection between why the bad guy was the bad guy other then he was and why we should feel sympathy for him like one of the main characters did.
This probably would have been better as a longer book tbh.

I'd give this an overall rating of about 2.5-3 stars. These are just my opinions, and you may think otherwise, so please read it yourself as well!! **Stop reading here if you don't want any spoilers! Spoilers will be ahead!**
Spice Level: Honestly, the spice level was okay for me. It always felt so short to me. There were plenty of spicy scenes but the details and how long it lasted just didn't seem realistic to me. Also, both of them never got it done -together- until the very last spicy scene which seemed weird to me (lol as a certified lesbian) for them to be sooo in love since the beginning. The scenes could have been great if they had been fleshed out a little more (this is a reoccurring theme).
Characters: I wanted so badly to love the characters in this book! I mean sapphic vampires??? I could literally not ask for anything I like more. But because of the length of this book, I wasn't really able to connect to the characters at all. Not to mention that by the end it was getting confusing. Raelinn's father is the Vampire King, but in the end, Aurelia starts saying 'our dad' which is very confusing. This was a dual POV book, but I felt like with how short it was, it could have benefitted from being a single POV, as in the beginning it seemed more like Aurelia's book and by the end, she was barely a POV at all. Also, I could not get invested in their love story at all. I wanted to love them, but it started out with them already so in love and there was no build up to anything. It was a bit of a boring love story and I felt so disconnected from it, it just seemed like an afterthought for there to be spice.
Concept: I love the concept! I love the concept! I love the concept! Sapphic Vampires who are racing against time to save their love and their loved ones? Obsessed. Even more obsessed because the coven family is messsyyyy. I am in love with this concept, and I wish this book would have been longer to give this concept what it deserves.
Plot: *Enter my crying* The plot was very rushed. It happened so fast, characters were introduced, things happened, and then bam! The ending was there. There wasn't nearly enough backstory to Vorigan and why he was a big ol' meanie, nor was there any resolution for why the King was a big ol' meanie and seemed eager to be a big ol' meanie, why was everyone so quick to trust Raelinn and why wasn't there an actual rebellion? The plot gave me so many questions and absolutely none of them got answered :D
The Ending: ANGRY. Okay, let me tell you why. The ending the people all come together to go against Vorigan right? Are you telling me that all of those people had proof of what Vorigan was doing and just...sat on it until Raelinn asked them to spill the beans? On what planet would that make sense because Vorigan was literally going to kill. them. all. And another thing! Why was the council so on the other coven's side? I thought the council didn't really like them? But they were very gung-ho to kill Vorgian and say oooh treason. It's so frustrating!! And doesn't get explained!!!
Overall: This could have been better if it had more in it. If it had been longer this would have been great, and I'm sure the author could have made this great, but just wanted to write a novella. I just think the concept was a bit too big for such a short book. IT was an okay read, but one that left me more confused and a bit disappointed.
P.S. - Put more vampire things in this vampire book. The only time we got anything about them being vampires were in the spicy scenes and that made me sad.
