¿Quién en la adolescencia no se enfrenta a la interrogante de si la vida merece la pena ser vivida o no? ¿Si hay algo que valga la pena? ¿Si acaso esto tiene sentido? Oh, una pregunta que puede ahogarte y enfrentarte a lo insignificante que es nuestra existencia a comparación del inmenso universo.

Es extraño, de la búsqueda de un significado se llega a locuras, a desastres, a caos y muerte. Una faceta de nosotros que se aferra a ese: Sí, esto vale la pena, no sé por qué, pero lo hace. Porque es algo grande, tiene importancia y por ello significado...
Me gusta un análisis al que llega Agnes: El significado es relativo, y por tanto vacío de significado.
No me ha encantando del todo, sin embargo, no sé bien decir el porqué. Quizá porque ya pasé por ello, porque ya he leído al respecto y esto no me genera más que lo mismo: Nada. ajajaja.
Sí la vida puede no tener sentido, es solo la manera en cómo reaccionas a este sinsentido lo que definirá tu vida. :)

I thought the story was weird and slow at first, but as the items added to the heap got increasingly darker and more profound, I couldn't put it down. I needed to know what these 13-year-olds could possibly force someone to hand over next. I don't know what the hell they put in the water in Denmark, but things got really disturbing really fast.
Unsettling and thought-provoking, this is a story for mature teens who are looking for something very different from most other teen novels.
