This book tells the story of a group of young classmates trying to convince their peer that life has meaning. What starts innocently enough soon spirals out of control as the group frantically tries to convince him they are right. I originally read this book when I was arguably far too young to be doing so and have read it again recently as an adult. Teller does a beautiful job of writing a story that is both absolutely harrowing but that you cannot tear yourself away from. I cannot begin to stress how good of a head space you need to be in before embarking on this journey, however, it is incredibly worth it. Teller evokes many poignant questions (what lines are we willing to cross in order to help each other?) that will stay with you for the rest of your life.

Was zur Hölle hab ich da gerade gelesen??
