Two of my favorite genres in one quick fun read--small town and second chance. Theo is from a really small town, forced to play nice with the rich people. All he wanted to do was get his mom out of the diner. He would do anything, and that was his biggest mistake.

Gen wanted to find herself. Gen wanted to rebel against all things rich. She saw her escape in Theo the rich man's love child, the secret child from a small town.

Ten years later, and she hasn't seen him since that fateful day they were arrested. She is miserable. She is lonely yet to be married. She needs an escape to the small town where she felt alive.

This story gave me romance, conflict, drama, and guys to hate. (and yay there was more than one guy to despise) and a happily ever after that wasn't easy, but earned.

This was an enjoyable, sweet, quick and easy to read romance. That drew me in from the very start and held my interest throughout. As all the characters were extremely likable. Well, apart from Montgomery and maybe Larry too.

And anyone who is looking for a quick, pure romance. With moments of fun, should definitely check it out.

I am a fan of Aleo's hockey series, so picking up this book was a no brainer. I really enjoyed the southern feel of this storyline. I felt like I needed a porch swing and a glass of sweet tea. A sweet story about first love and finding where you truly belong.

Toni Aleo is an amazing author. She is the queen of hockey romances and is now showcasing her skills in a new realm. This novella helps make you believe in second chances and in the power of true love. Theo has loved Gen for most of his life. However, an amazing set of circumstances and time have kept them apart. However, this is all about to change.

Gen returns home to finish her book with every intention of going back to her everyday life. However, when she reunites with Theo it is as if time has stood still. What does this mean for her relationship with her fiancé, Montgomery?

While Gen and Theo have a special relationship, her relationship with Montgomery is less than stellar. He is the kind of man that you hope you never meet. Will Gen realize this and see what she could have with Theo?

Overall, this was a wonderful read that moved at a fast pace. It will make you believe in love and hope for the future.

Not the One

Gen thought Them wasn't the one. Because he told her so when he did something stupid and got in trouble. 10 years later she's engaged to his half brother and fighting to keep true to herself. Struggling to make her deadline she heads back to her inspiration and and old memory. Not for you is a well written novella and I loved it. I recommend it for a quick Toni fix.

Not the One is book 1 in The Spring Grove Series. I enjoyed Not the One and can't wait to continue with The Spring Grove Series. I loved Genevieve.
