Maybe my favorite Dan Brown. It's action packed and very well paced. A lot of fun!

What can I say, i know his books are formulaic, but they hook me in every time. He writes very intelligent mysteries!

How much do we love polar exploration?! So much. While this novel does not include actual polar exploration, the main characters do go to the Arctic. The best part was that there's a note at the beginning of the book that says all the technology described in the book is real. That blew my mind. The whole time I was reading it, I was like, “NO WAY.” It's good, yeah.

This was a classic Dan Brown style thriller. I guess he's got a formula that works and he sticks with it. I did find it a bit wordy when it came to descriptions of technological equipment. Eventually I skimmed paragraphs about helicopters, boats, etc., so I could get back to the story. I did figure out the bad guy well before the end, but I think thars because I'm so used to Brown's formula now.. Maybe if this was the first time I'd read one of his books I wouldn't have figured it out.

An excellent thriller. Not quite up to par with The DaVinci Code, but excellent nonetheless.

If I could give this book .25 stars, I would. I checked this one out of the library on a whim because I wanted a face-paced, but mindless story to read. I guess, in a way, I got what I expected. The story is so far fetched and melodramatic without even one believable charater. Unless you have nothing better to read, including the back of cereal boxes, do not waste your time!
