Marlowe is a girl after my own heart. All she wants to do is enjoy her life as a romance author with her 2 cats and 2 best friends all in her favorite sweatpants. This book was a fun, easy read. The characters were interesting, and I'm excited for book number two.

Marlowe Bennet is an author who has become used to her hermit existence. She wants to stay home in her sweats with her cats and eat junk food while she writes. Heath is a model who is ready to stop traveling and settle down. After steamy kiss a year ago, Marlowe's best friend Iris arranges a date for the two of them.

I really enjoyed this book. A.D. Brazeau did a nice job of going into how anxiety can take over your life. I thought the chemistry between Heath and Marlowe was wonderful. Heath was truly a perfect book boyfriend. He was so patient and understanding. I loved how the book focused on their relationship, but I was sad there was no steamy sex scenes.

The friendship between Iris, Marlowe and Marlowe's sister Lucy was really fun to read about. I liked how they were all so supportive of each other. This was a heartwarming story that was funny and light. A great book to read on a rainy weekend in.

This is a short sweet romance story. Marwole and Heath are two I won't of put together. Marwole shows alot of signs of anxiety and some which are onwards to chronic anxiety.
Heath is an extremely sweet character and is extremely supportive in his role
The author does a fantastic job of dealing with anxieties with this situation. Iris is a breath of fresh air.

Adorable! That pretty much sums up this book perfectly.

I’m normally not a contemporary romance reader but this book has changed my mind.

The 3 women in this book are amazing friends and you feel like you are a part of the ‘girl gang’.

The romance is epic and I totally related with Mor to the T.
And Heath ....

Oh my goodness!! Such a fun read!!

If you enjoy reading about women having truly uplifting friendships, real life struggles, and falling in love, this is the book for you. The author pulled me in from the beginning of the book and had me cheering for a happy ending.

Seriously, reading this book made me miss my best friend! Every woman needs an Iris and Marlowe kind of friendship in their life!!

Love Between the Lines by A.D. Brazeau is a book from The Page Turners Series. This is a delightful, chicklit, romance story featuring Marlowe Bennet. She is very relatable wanting to just live her life as a writer. The issue is she writes romance and has none in her life. Heath Rochester is a former model and now running his family's bookstore and he has his sights on Marlowe. Will they or won't they? You have to read this fun book to get the answer. I really enjoyed the characters and lightness of the story. I really needed a little romantic pick me up and this fit the bill. I look forward to more from this author in the future.

I really liked the idea of this story. The model and the writer. The writing flowed nicely and the characters held my interest. The story is relatively low key. My major issue is the friends drama really overpowered the main story. It’s was too much information about them and their predicaments. The girls night would have been good with just touches of Iris and Lucy and keeping the focus on Marlow and Heath. I did enjoy the character of Iris very much. She added some fun to the story.

This is a new release, and I was so anxious to read it that I picked it up and couldn’t seem to put it down. It’s a quick read once you get into the story line as I was able to complete it in about 3 hours. It’s a cute romantic story and the characters are so easy to fall in love with. I loved how the writer didn’t seem to make a relationship the goal for the characters. Instead, they had other goals and frustrations that they were dealing with, anxiety being one of them. I could totally relate to this as it is something I too deal with in my own life. The characters were likable, the book had a great plot, and it was hilarious without being that cheesy romantic rom-com. I found this book to be a fun, light, and easy to read book. It was also easy to put down and pick back up without having to remember a lot of details so I could get right back to the story. The author has a way with words that pulled me into the story and made me want to keep reading. In fact, there were some lines that I had to stop and reread because the insight from the author was so amazing. It is definitely a great book, so I highly recommend you add this to your list.

I enjoyed this romance story that has a twist of laughter. This is a newer author for me and I look forward to reading more in the future. I enjoyed being pulled into the story from the start. The characters are relatable and made me laugh a few times. They brought the story to life. They made it fun and easy to read. Marlowe wants nothing more than to live in her sweats, write her books and spend time with her pets. Heath is ready to give his glamorous life on the road to run the family business. He is also ready to Marlowe his. The only problem is that she feels unlovable and really needs to take control of her life. They made such great characters that I really enjoyed. I highly recommend reading this book to find out what their fate is.

My rating: 4 of 5

Very cute novel about a romance writer and her “real life” experience in finding love. First book in a series. A quick read with very real and relatable characters. “Love Between the Lines” does not shy away from discussing mental health conditions, mainly anxiety, and how it impacts the life and decisions of multiple characters, without it being the predominant characteristic of the characters.

I like that the Marlowe's storyline was not overtaken with sex scenes, and that the connection between her and Heath was the focus of the relationship. I also enjoyed seeing Marlowe's support system, her best friend Iris and sister Lucy a.k.a. Luc, and how they supported Marlowe while pushing her outside of her comfort zone. Not only are we seeing Marlowe opening herself up to a relationship, but we see Iris and Luc dealing with their own life challenges and how Marlowe helps them through it too.

Set in a world where books were a main theme, it’s sure to be enjoyable for any book lover.

A new to me author; I look forward to reading more of her work.
