I tried listening to this on Audio like all the others in the series and have found myself bored after only 2 discs (there are 9 in total). Yes I may still try to read it again when the next book is released but at this point in time I'm giving up on Sookie.

Honestly, I have almost nothing to say about this book, it wasn't great but it wasn't bad.

And to my utter shock, I do wish Sookie and Bill would just get back together.

Also, I love Terry.

I still enjoyed this book but not nearly as much as the others. Sookie was way too whiny and got on my nerves in this book. I hope the next book will find her with a little more backbone and a lot less whine!

That was a torture to read this book. Where did disappeared Soookie's personality? First half of the book was really boring and I felt like I was reading some different book from different author. Then in the second half everything seemed more like a Sookie world in previous books, but still....

Why doesn't Sookie want to be a vampire? I think it sounds pretty fucking cool.

I loved this book! I love how Charlaine Harris continues to address to political aspect of living in the South and the hierarchy of politics even in the supernatural world. Poor Sookie has so many options for love but there is good and bad with each option which leaves the reader cheering for Sookie overall. I love how strong and independent Sookie remains. Once again, she has left me wanting another installment immediately!
