This is still a 5 star book. A lot darker than I remember it being when I was a kid. I wasn't sure if parts of it was going to scare my 8 year old or not but she said she enjoyed it. We will be watching the movie this weekend. ❤

I’m hopping on this trend quite late, but I absolutely loved this book. I am usually not into fantasy books, because they seem a bit childish to me. But this book was written perfectly for all ages

The book did a great job bringing us into the world of wizards and magic. The story was easy to follow. Great first installment to a wonderful series.
