Quite dense language but with beautiful descriptions, a heartwarming series of connecting stories that leaves the reader at the very end (so hold on until the final page if you have mixed feelings throughout reading because it's worth it) with a hopeful lesson on time.

I really like the concept: a normal place like a cafe, but there is a magical element to it. Although it reminded me a little of the kdrama Mystic Pop-Up Bar, this book lacked the impact. All 4 stories were very on the surface level and, frankly, pretty sexist. The last story, especially, disappointed me a lot, considering the dangerous message it sends and made me think about the rest of the stories more carefully. I realized that all of them had the female character compromise with what the society expected from her, even if it meant sacrificing her time, dreams, or life.
Men-talk-with-women-before-writing-about-them-challenge!

This story was really pretty but sad which I should have been expected given the premise. I really enjoyed the atmosphere and characters and how it all tied up in the end.
I was disappointed a bit in how easily I guessed where some of the stories were going. Then thinking about it later... I'm a bit mad about Kay's fate. It's not like it comes as a surprise because it's hinted at but it's just sad.
