This book came to me at the perfect time in my life. I am so EMOTIONAL ABOUT IT.

This absolutely took place as my favorite book in the Chestnut Springs series (which is insane to me because I never thought anything could top Heartless).

WINTER AND THEO. THEO AND WINTER. VIVI. PETER. I can’t you guys, I can’t handle all of these feelings.

I sobbed, I laughed, I felt so many things as I read their story. Winter is perfection. She is rightfully jaded and has closed her heart off to protect herself. Reading about the way she had to learn to accept love from not only others, but HERSELF???? I am *emotional*. Theo literally treats her like the queen she is, he is my hero. The patient he has with her and how fully he understands what she needs…

Elsie Freaking Silver, man. She did it again. Am I ever not going to like a book of hers? These characters are so special, so full of life, I'm going to miss the all deeply when I'm done with the series. Theo Silva, the man you are!! Also, can we talk about the incredible Harvey Eaton? I swear to Christ that man deserves his own love story and an Award as the best human ever. Loved this! Please read it when you need something fun and warm to give your heart a little hope. ❤️
