This book basically gives you exactly what you think you're going to get out of a stereotypical romance novel. I enjoyed my time reading it, but it's not something that will live rent free in my head forever. However, I will give Elsie Silver a nod for giving me a trope I had never read before. That part was interesting and did keep me on my toes for a hot minute.

idk why i held off reading this book for so long, maybe i was scared of the " reformed manwhore", maybe it's the " secret baby". but i was pleasantly surprised.

*safety:
- safe
- no cheating between mcs
- both celibate during 18month seperation
- owd : an ex hook up shows up but he sets her straight that he's done with that life and has a girl
- omd : not really drama but her ex is a dick and he kept harassing her.

-what i loved :
- the MCs, it was black cat x golden retriever... characters like winter are very controversial because of her cold, rude, slightly bitchy demeanor but i personally eat that up i love me a damaged fmc that is closed off and mean instead of a doormat that lets everyone walk all over her.
and my god theo, never thought i'd love a reformed manwhore so much, maybe it's because we didn't witness his manwhoring ( if it was in previous books i can't remember and thank god for it

I have absolutely no regrets, I absolutely ate this shit up. Are you kidding!!? Obsessed! Onward to book 5

I have to say... DAMN... very professional assesment, I know... But damn is Reckless a freaking good book. It's witty, fun, mature (THEY TALK THEIR ISSUES OUT) and so easy to get lost in. I love the Elsie Silver girlies, but Winter and Willa are definitely my top favorite. I adore Winter for her realness in everything... And I love the respect she gives Theo and his career... And the respect Theo gives Winter all throughout everything.

Not my favorite Elsie Silver book but still so so good. I loved the growth of Winter and Theo is such a cutie. I can definitely relate to Winter as miss independent.

Theo is so dreamy! I really loved his character and his relationship to Winter! They really brought out the best in each other. I think there were still times where he seemed "too perfect" even with the conflict towards the end but I really loved how this was done. I was surprised when the story jumped so far ahead but I can definitely understand why now.
