Four sisters, four seasons, four romances. (Well, five if you count their dad.) The Songbird Inn on Orcas Island off the coast of Washington was named the Most Romantic Inn in America and the Singh sisters who live there and run it with their dad are ready for romances of their own. As we follow them through the year, the book is divided into seasons where each sister has her turn at romance. The romances are as different as the four sisters and all are equally satisfying. Recommended for fans of romance, grades 7 & up.

This book was so enjoyable to read. It reminded me of reading a romance author's interconnected series, but in the same book (like four short stories). Each sister's love story is unique, and well-suited to the character. You also get a sense of the inn, and the people who love it, as well as what life on the San Juan Islands (specifically Orcas) is like. It feels like a warm hug.
Finally officially reviewing one of my favorite reads of 2022~. This is such a unique novel format, but it works extremely well and I absolutely adored it. Drizzle, Dreams, and Lovestruck Things follows four sisters whose father runs an inn. The format is essentially four novellas, each taking place in a different season and following a different sister's story. I loved all four of the romances, and, though one might expect this format to make each of the plotlines seem underdeveloped, it really does allow for each sister to shine and emphasizes their connection more than four interconnected novels would have. This is such a cozy read set in the Pacific Northwest, and I couldn't recommend it more for any time of year. 5/5 stars.

If there's one thing I really don't like it's YA and to make it a romance YA is probably worse. The narrator wasn't great (very monotone) and I actually had no idea that the story was about 4 sisters. The writing wasn't great, and I think I have up at 25%.
This poor review was my fault, had I read the description more fully I wouldn't have requested it. No fault to the author, just really not my cup of tea.
Thank you Netgalley for this ARC!
