"The concepts of love and family are deeply intertwined." This adorable YA novel is filled with this theme throughout the entire book. The story of the four Signh sisters, their path to finding love and the connection with a part of their family they haven't seen in years. Each sister's path to love is interconnected, from Nidhi's struggle to follow her heart; Sirisha's struggle to find her voice; Avani discovering love is right in front of her; to Rani herself, the family's anointed true Love Guru, fantasizing about her first kiss, hoping to have the ultimate Bollywood love story. I loved how the sisters' stories were intertwined throughout the story, even the Dad finding love again after the loss of the girl's beloved Pop. Lots of laugh out loud moments along with the teary eyed moments came across the pages of this book. This was the perfect YA romance for those who believe in love. I appreciated the way the author integrated the family's culture into the storyline. Makes me want to try more Indian food! So many delicious foods were mentioned throughout the story!

Thanks NetGalley and the publisher for the eARC of this novel. 4/5 stars.

I really enjoyed how it was almost like 4 novellas, each focusing on a Singh sister BUT the novellas were chronological and detailed the progression of the seasons. It expanded on the stories of the other sisters and continued the story, but it highlighted the specific sister and their journey of love, romance, and relationships.

I think Nidhi and Avani's were my favorites, but they also had the first 1/2 of the book. I love how Sirisha's story didn't focus on her being queer and that it just was a thing. Rani's story with the romance novels spoke to my heart.

Overall, this book is SUPER cute and a light, fluffy read but it's LONG...but it's definitely just feel good feelings for it.

It was good as a YA but I wish it delved more into non-romantic love (like the relationship between the dad and the daughters). Loved the PNW setting and could imagine all of it.

3.75 stars. Glad to say that after more than 2 years, I've finally finished this book. What a sweet and cosy story.
Although I have to say, that its length meant that I was a little bored by the time we got to Rani. Very cute and fun though.

One Orcas Island inn that wins an award for “Most Romantic Inn” plus four sisters, four seasons, four romances. I hoped it would equal a light, fluffy read.

I picked up Drizzle, Dreams, and Lovestruck Things because its sequel, Wild Wishes and Windswept Kisses, crossed my radar. I was intrigued by the Washington island setting and the four sisters. I wanted it to be a book I would breeze through and race to get to the sequel.

Instead, I got a book that was, essentially, four novellas bound into a single volume. The novel desperately needed some tightening up and/or a main character tying all of the stories together with a single thread. I did not feel like sister Rani did enough in the other stories to warrant her being the “thread that binds.” And, while the Songbird Inn could be seen by some as that uniting factor, again, I did not feel it was strong enough to warrant MC status.

While I enjoyed the beginning and pieces throughout the entirety of the novel, in the last section, I found myself skimming “just to finish.” I’m not fond of the word “typical” but this did feel like the “typical” HEA romance. Yes, the Indian cultural aspects added some nuance and, yes, the sisters’ relationship with each other and their father was interesting, it just wasn’t unique enough nor did it offer any surprises.

It was good enough to finish but not exciting enough that I want to read the sequel that drew me to this volume in the first place.
