Generally, this isn't a book I would normally pick up. I dabble into romantasy and dark romance every now and then but combining them? No chance.

But then my book club chose this for our monthly read and I had to participate...

...And I loved it.

If you're a fan of the YA book series, Caraval, or a fan of the movie Crimson Peak, I think Phantasma will be for you! It's slightly dark, thrilling, entertaining and HOT.

Laura Horowitz did an incredible job narrating this! I will be on the look out for more audiobooks narrated by her in the future.

A book that can finally help set the record straight on what OCD really is and not just a strong need to have everything clean and exact. Also, I found this story to be very unique (at least from the stories that I've encountered) and I always appreciate a good unique setting and magic system. Can't wait to read the next one.
