Here we have chapters narrated by different women that chronicle the many affairs of Yukihiko Nishino.
I was honestly entertained at first, but then towards the middle the anecdotes from these women talking about their encounters with Nishino became repetitive and boring—and honestly, that ending felt so unfulfilling, and it fell flat compared to how the book started.
Of course, i liked how simple and clear the prose was, as is the usual for Japanese authors (except for Murakami), but the storyline just didn’t do well for me, sadly.

The main focus character (Nishino) is extremely problematic and his toxicity towards the "loves" of his life is heavily romanticized which I found extremely distasteful.
