Kawakami is one of my new favorite writers, so this book was a bit of a let down.
I was intrigued by the concept and the very idea of reading more of Kawakami's writing.
10 different points of view written in her pen was going to be an absolute treat.
But chapter 2 and 10 have some unsettling elements to them that had me putting the book down.
Nishino starting chapter 2 by nursing from his sister, and then soon after kissing a girl who was spying on them and comments on how sweet the kiss was 'probably due to the milk', as well as Nishino in chapter 9 admitting being in love with his sister and having sex with a girl who looks just like her...
It's something that's kinda hard to shake even if some of the chapters really were good! Even in the best ones, all I can think is: "Ma'am, you are dating a guy who only a few pages ago was sucking his own sister's breasts."

I did not like this book, to be specific I did not like Nishino. There are some weird things going on and I don’t want to spoil it so will leave it at that
