I'm sticking with my review-site friendly quotes on this one... and I couldn't choose between these 2, so you get them both:
1 - “I swear, one day I’ll have my ducks in a row, but apparently, today my ducks are squirrels and they’re rioting. "
2 - “We’re all a little broken...It’s how you put yourself back together that counts.”
I loved the Saints of Serenity Falls series from Lily - and when I enjoy a series from an author, I always get a little anxious that I'm not going to enjoy their next publication in the same way.
The portrayal of domestic abuse in the narrative is heart-wrenching and well written (it is in the TWs and is a thread that is woven throughout the plot).
This is the start to a new series, so I knew there would be some sort of cliffy, and you get an inkling as to where you're being led - but what an ending!

I loved it!
A great reverse harem with a good story, a nicely paced action and spice. Not hyper spicy, but the spice is there and well done.
I like the fact that all the guys have their own style of kinks. It makes it more interesting and diversified.
The only thing I’m raging about? THE ENDING! Argh!
But seriously, a great mafia-esque, dark romance, reverse harem. It’s *Chef’s kiss*! Highly recommend for those who like these tropes.

Im trying to finished it but the cringe is to much.
I know some people will hate the "kitten" nickname, it's fine for me. But what's not fine for me is meyer and quinn scene where he's chasing her and calling her "oh kiiiiiitten" like nooooo my eyes! Huhuhu
