Overall I enjoyed this book (listened to on Audible). I love Dolly Alderton's writing style and her observations are so thoughtful, funny and perceptive. Some bits felt quite slow and the editing was inconsistent (e.g. in one paragraph a pair of trousers was hung up twice). Also near the end there was a scene with the main protagonist's neighbour which was so cliched and disappointing that I almost stopped listening, hence 3 stars rather than 4. That incident aside, overall an enjoyable read and I am looking forward to what she writes next.
