This one was a little bit unexpected in comparison to Rina's other books. Daresay there were quite a few moments when it came to Creighton. Usually I don't really care for the grump/sunshine or opposites attracts trope, but I was absolutely living for it in Annika and Creigh's story.

I just love the soft edges that comes to the MMC and their dark edges. He will do ANYTHING for Annika and could care less what anyone else thinks of him. I just truly enjoyed their different dynamics in this and it was just downright cute. But I couldn't have imagined a better match for either one of them.

Adrian and Lia's story is the last of Rina's backlist that I still need to read and after reading the POVs from them, I'm sooooo eager to finally get to it.

I don't really care for second generation stories, but Rina really knocked it out of the park with this series. And I'm eagerly awaiting the next one, I don't think I'll ever want this series to end, there are so many possibilities!

Narration: James Joseph, Mackenzie Cartwright, Shane East, Jason Clarke, and Desiree Ketchum were the chosen few to narrate this one. The bulk of the book is dual with Annika and Creighton's POV, but like God of Malice, we get a little bit from the parents' POV (which is an absolute treat). I enjoyed the choices for narration, everyone but Shane East and Desiree Ketchum was new to me narrators. And I think they all did great.
