I had no idea what this book was about, and I went in, totally based on the cover. I am so glad that I did!

I absolutely adored each and every character and the bond they were able to create each other to help heal wounds they were hiding.

It was sweet, funny, and sad at moments. A great overall read.

A reminder to me not to pick a book by its cover. 

This is a platonic love story, it was nice but didn't keep me engaged or eager for more. I have not read a book with this plot before so that was a plus.

This is such a wholesome story. I've not read many books where found family takes place within a group of adults. Obviously, within the setting of a library, I was going to eat this right up! Arthur McLachlan is such a grumpy yet lovable grouch. This unlikely group of friends, Sloan and Arthur, and the others they meet along the way, will warm your heart and remind you of the power of community.

A real feel-good read. 5🌟
