The erasers are drawn way better than what I was imagining in my head when I was reading the books. I could never fully picture how Ari went from being so little into a giant man and hulking eraser. Such good art!

I really respect manga drawers, that takes a lot of work and not all of it is fun. There are so many details worked into this, it's amazing.

WAY too rushed. sure, i read it quickly, but even books that i read quickly can go without feeling rushed if they're paced right. the illustrations and storyline is good, but it was much too fast. i also wish there'd been more packed in here rather than "oh! an attack! oh! Angel is getting weird! oh! another attack!". i loved the first volume, but i think i'm going to stop here with the manga series. i probably won't pick up any of the original books either.
