Never did I think I would be reading (much less enjoy) a book on animal totalitarianism but here I am about 130 pages later and I think I might have found one of my favorite books of the year.

It’s a really simple book that talks about a farm. As simple as that. But in this farm, that start with the animals making a revolution again the humans, not everything is what it seems. A really fun and easy way that shows how fucked up human corruption is, and what power does with even the nicest people, I mean, animals.
I feel this is a really nice book to young people to read and understand society.

A must read! It's short but POWERFUL!
It was hartbreaking.
Also high praise for the narrator, making the story come to life.
A few days later I still have Beasts of England stuck in my head.

George Orwell is extremely intentional with every single character and every line, and this book is surprisingly short, but oh does it pack a punch. Animal Farm is a classic and it's shown through the study of not only how a revolution might backfire, but also poses the question of how self-destructive the institutional structures of any political system can drive leaders very easily over the edge and fall into greed and pride abyss. It shows essentially how power can disrupt character but in a very palatable read. This is an incredibly easy book to read, would highly recommend it!
