3.5, I love Jay Crownover. I literally think I’ve read every book she’s written. This is a great short and sweet romance book.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.5 ! This is the first novel I’ve read by Jay Crownover and I went into this completely blind! I absolutely loved the characters, their connection, their banter. Can not wait to read book #2 of the series.

I ate the first half of this book up and then struggled a little to sit down and finish it. I really did enjoy the characters and the storyline. But the ending made me mad 😡

First of all what an incredibly rude way to end a book 🤣. I was listening to the audiobook and had no idea it was close to ending and let’s just say I gasped in outraged shock.
I loved this story. I loved the characters. I hated Langley’s family. I need the next book immediately because again, how dare they?
The journey through unsupportive and downright cruel family dynamics was done beautifully and the writing did a good job of evoking emotion. No surprise here though as I’m fans of both authors. Ok, off to listen to book two!
