It was a nice read - it has a kind of (rich) Cinderella type vibe with a Hunky tattooed Prince - with Hat tips to Cinderella i think the carriage is even mentioned once.

It was a 3.5 read for me i rounded it to 4 as if definitely doesn't deserve 3

Langley was way to much of a pushover for me.... I was screaming at her at times.... And i did think Iker could have been more Honest at times....

But the general vibe was really enjoyable.

I have never been disappointed in a Rebecca Yarros book. The only thing I didn’t like about this book, it ended too soon! Langley hid in her shell and took the verbal abuse of her stepmother and stepsister just to make sure her father stayed happy. She was protecting him while suffering, until Iker came into the picture and stood up for her like no one else ever had. Had me all in the emotional feels.

Short and cute romantic story. Enjoyed listening to the audiobook while working. The narrators were good!
