It was cute and I can’t wait to see what happens in book two.

I have had this duet for a while and in full honesty the one author is always a hit or a miss for me and the other is a favorite of mine. I didn’t want to not like it. I know buck up and I am glad I did because wow this book Girl in Luv had all the things I loved about the one author who is hit or miss and all the things I loved with my favorite author. So I really shouldn’t have been worried.

Langley reminded me of Cinderella in a way but with more of a backbone.
I like that she took it upon herself to bite back if you will and how she meets Iker is kinda great not that he had to step in just that she went there at all.

The back and forth between these two was effortless and you could see the connection and genuineness/willingness to learn about each other.

Great book 1 can’t wait to dive into book 2 I am invested and need to know what happens next.
Freaking fantastic narration both of these narrators were exactly who the characters are.

I had been waiting a while to read or listen to this one. I finally used an Audible credit to buy it and I did enjoy it, although it was short and had a cliffhanger ending. I probably won’t get to the second part until my Audible membership starts up again in April. My only complaints were that while the female narrator had a good voice, she sometimes paused at weird moments. I’ll be eager to find out how book 2 will pick up, and I have to say that this was good even if a bit predictable.
