Part 1 of 2 of the Luv Duet series.
Langley Vaughn is not looking forward to her step-sister's wedding, for one reason, because her stepsister is marrying Langley's former boyfriend. Langley's father is very wealthy, so Langley uses her money to purchase a fake boyfriend to accompany her to all the wedding festivities. She meets Iker Alvarez, a tattooed soldier, who is stationed nearby. He would love the money she is offering as he is putting his brother through school. He is not interested in being a part of Langley's socialite life, however, he doesn't like the way Langley's sister treats her. So, as unwilling as he is, he slowly falls for Langley. However, his duty to the army is going to possibly destroy their relationship.
I enjoyed this short novel about two opposites falling in love, and want to know how their story ends. On to book 2!
