Well, let's just say I am devouring this series.... I cannot get through these fast enough. Other than Mac, however, I do find it interesting that my loyalites seem to change from chapter to chapter, and I anxiously await to see what what true intentions turn out to be.

So I still dislike the love interest, Barrons. I found out from this book that it's more that I like him on his own rather than as a love interest, if that makes sense. I like the intrigue in these books and how unreliable and morally-grey all the characters are. Why was this sold to me as a romance? The lusty, sexual tension between Mac and Barrons is not my thing if it is... I'm going to continue this series though (for the drama lol).
ok but when felt that the story was Finally going to move forward i actually finished reading the book??? don’t know how to feel about that
Fast paced. Mac is growing on me and the world building/mythology is developing in interesting ways. Sexy +.
