2nd one in the Fae Fever series and it's even better than the first! I don't know what I'm going to do when I have to wait for the books to be written to find out what happens! In this one, there is more hint of romance between Mac and Barrons, leaving me wanting more. Also, we've been introduced to Christian MacKeltar, a name recognizable if you've read Feehan's Highlander series. I can't wait to find out how he fits in (especially from the other books!) I can't believe I waited so long to read these books!

These aren’t “great” books, but I’m oddly into the storyline and I want to know what Jericho Barrons is so I guess I’ll keep reading.

I wish I could read all the time. This book freaking makes me want to read all the time. That character development though from Mac was beautiful and Malluce words of torture I felt them on a deep scale. In that part particularly when he was describing the ways in which he wanted Mac to suffer it was such amazing writing. Even though I was rooting for Mac I still sympathized with the ugly vampire and I was shook. Anyway, this book gave more of an insight into the relationship Mac once had with her sister within the beach scene part and I loved their dynamic you got a look at the importance of Alina to Mac on a deeper level. And can we talk about the last couple of pages and the thing that happened between Mac and Barron I hope I'm not just speaking for myself when I say FINALLY!!! and you get it, girl. In this book things start picking up the foundations of the battle are being laid, sides are being taken and enemies are being accumulated. I love that there are others out there like Mac and in book 3 I want to get more of a look at the organization, it seems badass but also conservative in terms of their values and ideals they take a utilitarian approach to morality as in saving the majority rather than the minority. Anyway, I loved this book and I can't wait to read book 3.
