I can't get enough of this series! Off to book number 3 I go!
If I was reading this series as it was first published I would be infuriated that I am on book TWO and I still have no idea what the feck is going on.
This book could have been an email. Some stuff happens but ultimately none of it matters and the needle isn’t moved forward until the last few chapters.
Am I still intrigued? Yes. Am I also incredibly annoyed that the romance is still barely there? FECK YES.
Not sure how I feel about Jericho. I don’t love the bully dynamic. Call me crazy but I love it when the FMC dates someone who actually LIKES her. Enough of this enigmatic BS. Cop to it or feck off!

Even more melodramatic than book one in the most fun way. I found myself pulling this book out in between teaching classes, before appointments, and waiting for my husband to catch up with me in the grocery store. Any time I had more than 30 seconds of free time, I was glued to this story. Mac grew a lot in this book, as did her connections with her powers and the community she's building in Dublin. The crawl of decay through the city is a lot of creepy fun. There are also some interesting new characters that I enjoyed getting to know. I can sense things going off the wall in a way that will either be excessive and incredible or a massive disappointment. I'm choosing hope and expecting the former.
