My rating 3⭐️⭐️⭐️ weird .. but all these stories are!!

This is the 6th in the Disorder Collection… it wasn’t bad … very strange but this whole collection is strange.

Haunted by a doppelganger or mentally ill?

Plot: Will recalls how a doppelganger or a creation of his mind kept getting him in trouble, placing him first into juvie and then jail. This is a retelling of Edgar Allan Poe's William Wilson.

Likes: Natural voice and flow of the main character. The thin line between reality and supernatural.

Dislikes: While the story had an interesting vieb, it just didn't have any strong points. I just didn't connect with it well.

Audience: Edgar Allan Poe fans?

Rating: 3/5 stars from me. This was fine, but didn't resonate with me.

I thought this was an interesting story. It held my attention and the writing was well done.

Really interesting and just kept me wondering what the hell was going on. the ending didn't really feel satisfying to me in any way so I couldn't give it a 5. But it was a solid 4.5 for me.

Out of Amazon's Disorder series with 1st being my favorite and 6th being my least favorite, this ranks 2nd of 6.

Week 34 Book 37
Will Williams by Namwali Serpel
Rating 3/5

This is my second book in the Disorder series by amazon. In a modern retelling of Edgar Allan Poe’s William Wilson, a young black man’s paranoia escalates as he is followed, challenged, and terrorized by a doppelgänger bent on sabotaging his life. A decently interesting short read.

This is my favorite in the series. The interpretation of a classic is refreshing and so well done.
