I think this one was one of my faves when I was reading the series for the first time though I always missed the Pevensies. While all the Narnia books are pretty religious, I feel like this one was one of the MORE religious ones lol. Still great the second time around.

I always felt that "The Silver Chair" was one of the weaker links in the Narnia books and this re-read confirmed that. It's not that it's meandering or seems to have lots of aide plots (after all Dawn Treader is my favorite) but because I think that between Jill, Eustace, and Puddlegum, all the main characters have stick in the mud tendencies. We need some variety. Of course, I do love Puddlegum.

But 3.75 is still a good and high rating with a strong nostalgia factor.
