6/10; not quite as good as caspian but pretty solid. Puddleglum the goat

4⭐
Puddleglum is such a mood and I love him. He is my favorite character from this series, no competition.

Another great adventure which explores the world of Narnia and the crazy characters in it

I found The Silver Chair to be the most disappointing book of the Narnia series so far (read in published order). It took over two-thirds of the book for me to be excited about reading it. I had a hard time connecting at all with the two children, Eustace and Jill, which I didn't expect. I did find Puddleglum amusing, and I thought there wasn't quite enough of Prince Rilian.

Normally a book like this would take me 2 days to read w/o school or work, but this was the most boring of the Narnia books in my opinion, so it took what felt like forever to complete. Not a bad ending but just couldn’t get into it.

A solid entry in the series but generally forgettable once you’ve finished the book. It’s not as compelling a plotline as the rest of the books and it’s not surprising that so few adaptations exist.

I didn't like this one as much as the others. The ending was especially unsatisfactory to me.

Not a bad little story

Silver Chair is an entertaining and inspiring look at the world of Narnia. I enjoyed the story and loved the unique glimpses at Aslan and Aslan’s country. As always, Lewis offered wonderful imagery and lessons.
