Unfortunately, Isaiah carried this book for me, as well as all the Miller, Kai, and Max cameos. There wasn’t much plot to be honest and at some points it felt like they just kept going back to his apartment. I loved Isaiah’s kindness and communication but it made Kennedy annoying when she was being the opposite. She kept thinking he was a player for half the book even though it was proven time and time again she didn’t actually know him. Then she had a complete 180 and was suddently fully into him and devoted. I appreciated their own internal struggles they had to overcome from their traumas. But overall, it was a light read and I look forward to Rio’s book.

One of the stronger books in the series. While leaning more superficial (at least for me), there were some compelling flaws and character development that helped to push the plot along. I really enjoyed Kennedy’s and Isaiah’s dynamic.

I didn't think anyone would top Ryan Shay but MY GOODNESS. ISAIAH RHODES IS JUST TOO GOOD. Isaiah was a man obsessed from the very beginning and so was I. I really loved them both so much. Kennedy who hasn't experienced any love in her lifetime and Isaiah with all the love to give her. It was just too good and I couldn't recommend this more. 10/10 would recommend. Head over heels in love with this one.
