I rounded this up, as I feel if it gets a re-read it gets better. I was given an ARC to review and it came while I was travelling and not able to focus on reading it. But it's a book that requires focus. The story takes background to the author's writing, as she formulates a way to express the stream of mind of the various characters. If you take time to read it for that and think through how the characters develop and their relationships I think it is more than it would be otherwise. I normally do not take the time to think through the writing, so with thanks to Tandem Global for the readalong and McClelland and Stewart for the ARC to have others to read through this with.
