Was this a Great Book? Nah. It was okey. Like nothing extraordinary. It was kind of hard to get into but it is fast paced so it was a nice easy read. Easy Peasy to go through

Wow!

I am shook!

The twists and turns in this book are insane! You honestly don’t know who to trust!

The dual timelines work perfectly and disguise the truth so well. You start to feel certain ways towards characters and then everything you thought you knew and predicted gets turned upside down.

The more the story develops the more connected you feel towards Amy and want her to get out alive.

Freida McFadden is definitely a must read author for me now!

3.5 stars. Was slow for the first 70%, especially considering pretty much the entire main storyline takes place in a span of a single night shift. However, the multiple plot twists at the end really got me! Overall, it’s a pretty good thriller.

I should have known that this would be ableist garbage, but I read it anyway. I'm increasingly convinced no thriller authors are able to write about mental illness accurately or sensitively, even ones with medical backgrounds (although in my experience, most doctors are shitty about mental illness anyway). Exhausting. Gross. Boring. I can't believe this was published in 2023.
