Orwell has a quite frankly spectacular ability to write about pretty much anything, all while making it a fascinating and worthwhile read. Perhaps I did not find these critical essays as enjoyable as his narrative ones, but media reviews by Orwell is still an irresistible combination.

Most of the essays are interesting reads. There are a few that I didn't enjoy as much due to my lack of interest in the subject. Orwell is a beautiful and logical writer and his essays and commentaries are worth reading due to their honesty and constructive criticism.
