Still in a shock over this book so here are a few of my thoughts:

- The dialogue was written so well and flowed naturally. 10/10
- Somehow Nick is one of my favorite characters, don’t ask why
- Anna kicking >>>>
- the way the writing format changes on chapter 99 >>> ah I loved that. It fit with her state of mind and sense

Would have been five stars but I felt like the beginning of the book was dragged on n for 100 pages too many

the beginning of the book was interesting but slower than i would have liked.
it started getting more interesting as the story progressed and kept me wanting to know more.
the ending was surprising and looking back, there were definitely clues scattered throughout the book which is very smart.
dr. anna fox is an intriguing character and while it is sometimes hard to understand her, you ultimately find yourself sympathizing with and rooting for her.
the unreliable first person narrator is a very clever device to keep the reader guessing what‘s real and what‘s not.
in the end, an enjoyable book that could have been better in some ways. still recommend it.

And if I don‘t want to die, I‘ve got to start living.

This book gave me serious girl on the Train vibes with the women seeing a brutal murder from the window and no one believing it happened. I did guess from early on that Olivia and Ed had died and that Anna was in denial with their deaths so continued to speak to them. But mystery of what happened leading to the agrophobia along with the mystery of the women in the window had be transfixed. As even Anna was doubting herself and the amount of alcohol and drugs consumed did not help. The plot twist at the end was great with Ethan being a psychopath and stalking her after killing his birth mum and pretending to be the grandma with Agrophobia. A really good thriller and ill definetly watch the film.

Great book. Really suspenseful, and a lot of great plot twists. Starts off kind of slow, then speeds up at an exponential rate. Finished this book in a couple days; one i did not want to put down.

I enjoyed the first half of the book more than the end.
It lost me in the last few chapters when it became a Primal Fear (1996) twist.

This book was so gripping I couldn't put it down. I loved the mystery of the story, and especially loved how the things the protagonist was dealing with were very well researched and dealt with in a sensitive and informative manner. The book also has a great dry humour about it, which made it even better to read, and really allows the reader to feel like they are truly understanding and witnessing Anna's POV and character.
