Oh wow. This book was so good!! I will have a full review soon!
The only reason I read this was to get it off my bookshelf. I liked the love story but hated the cheating. He was honest with Sydney but not Maggie. Gross. I understand he felt loyalty towards Maggie but still gross. Mad she let him off the hook and mad the book ended with sex.

Not great. Because they’re sort of idolizing cheating which isn’t ok. But it was a very easy read to kill time.
I also don’t know what more can be told in book two

This was my favorite book from the 3 book series! It has an interesting story line about how Sydney found out her boyfriend cheated on her with her best friend and roommate. And then to see her suddenly fall in love with the man, Ridge, across the way playing music in their apartment patio was so cute! I think Colleen Hoover did an excellent job talking about Ridge and how he was deaf but he had an interesting way of creating music. I loved reading Ridge and Sydney’s relationship flourish, but my only nuance was that Sydney and Ridge are hypocrites for kissing each other even though Ridge was dating Bridgette, who sadly has cystic fibrosis. Maybe I took it too personally lol. But I don’t like how Sydney and Ridge were portrayed as heroes whenever poor Bridgette had to find out her boyfriend of 6+ years was cheating on her. Other than that, I think this book was the only one needed in the series. I don’t think the second and third book were really needed.
