Literally bought this because I saw the rumour that this was Taylor Swift under a pen name. I mean, it definitely isn't... it was OK but this didn't really make me feel much which seems like a barometer for poetry? IDK maybe I am a giant, huge, fat snob. It was alright. A quick read and there were like one or two lines that I was like oh right, okay, it's getting going now... but then the next one would read flat.

Absolutely loved this collection of poems. Words strung together in a way that spoke to my heart and mind. Words strung together into beautiful insights and reflections. These poems are ones I will read over and over and want to hang in my home.

Felt uninspired and amateur. Themes were kinda repetitive. I like maybe 3 poems. The writing felt like something from a Instagram info graph. I wish the poems had more rhythm or were more imaginative, used more writing techniques like metaphors , etc. I think the idea is there. I just wish it was better executed.

4/5 stars - Some of these poems hit DEEP. There were a few I had to write down in my quote book. There were a few that made me re-read about 10 times. Wow.

I absolutely love poetry and this book was no exception!
I love love and the poems in this book were both beautiful and heartbreaking.
Even though it is a book of sapphic poetry the concepts included could easily be applied to anyone and any type of love.
I highly recommend this book!
