Listening to it as an audio book, I found the names hard to tell apart. I liked Adria but found Guidanio a bit bland. I think his female characters in this book are probably some of his best. They had deep complex motivations that were completely decentered from the men in their lives. I just found the story itself didnt really grip me at all. I was not very invested in the characters, even Adria's story which was my favourite didnt really grab me.
