Good book for an introduction to the world of the Greek plays and playwrights. A little pedantic, but Aristotle was nothing if not a tad full of himself. After all, he built the Lyceum.

I quite enjoyed the definitions of epic, comedy, and tragedy, as well as the systematic attempt to quantify matters of storytelling. The first half likely shines brighter than the second, as it digs into minutiae that are less familiar and possibly less profitable for the modern reader. I also enjoyed the Dorothy Sayers essay included in this edition about Aristotle and detective fiction.

Vamos a ver es que no entiendo nada.
Me parece genial que por aquel entonces Aristóteles quisiera dejar por escrito sus ideas y opiniones sobre la poesía, la tragedia, la comedia, etc., pero quizá hoy en día lo mejor sea reescribir estas obras antiguas para ayudar a que se comprendan mejor. Sino, como aburren, la gente prefiere no leer los clásicos.
