Blunt, good advice that makes you think about additional ways you can build your business’ social media presence.

Decent book if you want to be motivated. The social media strategies, for me, seem like common knowledge at this point. More than anything, what bothered me about this book is that it seemed more like a list of companies Gary wants to brag about and less on solid strategies for building a personal brand and building a social media presence out of that. (I more or less skimmed most of the book after the first chapter)

This book was excellent. I have read a couple of months ago Crush it, but I feel it was a bit outdated and wasn't written that well.
On the other hand, Crushing It is much more updated to our current Social Media climate, I absolutely loved reading the success stories, it set the whole tone of the book. It's very well organised and his personality shines through, I was reading it in his voice all the time.
I am giving it 4 stars and not 5 because I think it's missing some crucial Social Media outlets like Pinterest, Tumblr or LinkedIn. But this book really puts you in a crushing mode and makes you realize all the amazing possibilities we have nowadays, give it a try.

Another good actionable book from GaryV. They tend to go out of date quickly, but he also includes some timeless advice. I liked the interviews he used in this book.
