"I should have realized how I felt about you before, but how do you see the planet you live on? The air you breathe? It was always there. It was too big for me to see. You were always just there. I could look at you every day, the same way I can look at the stars every day."

After reading Fence: Striking Distance, I was a little unsure about this book, due to my experience with the first book in this duology.  Striking Distance had a good story but the unbalanced pace affected my reading experience. So I didn't know what to expect from this book. Imagine my surprise when I started reading this book and realized that I really liked it. The story is a continuation of the last book but I think that this one is much better, to the point that the first now feels like a prologue to this book. The pacing is more balanced and the flow feels more natural.

So I really liked it! The story is very interesting, entertaining, and well-structured. The characters are well-developed and interesting. I don't think that  Sarah Rees Brennan will write another book in this universe, but if she does, I'm totally ready to read it!

I am so in love with this series. I love the graphic novels, I love the novels, I love the characters, I love the plot and setting and writing and EVERYTHING. I am so happy with this queer sports fiction!
This book had a LOT of pining and angst, but I love these children with my whole heart. They are kind of idiots but they are my idiots and each other's idiots and I am very happy with it.

Okay so when? when do Seiji and Nicholas get together??? We all know it is going to happen. We know it. You know it, I know it, Aiden and Harvard know it. Let's just let it happen already. They are clueless and I love them.
