3.5 - So much better than book 1. IMHO I found book 2 to still have a few cringey moments and especially the intimate moments, which I found ackward. It has started answering some questions and delved into more of the world, it's people and their magics. Onwards to book 3...

Wanted to like this book and I did make it halfway, but it seemed pretty awkward at times. Plus, Avery bringing up instances of how rich her family was again and again didn't make me relate with her character. Might take it up sometime in the future.

Book 2 of The Crystal Kingdom The Elf King by Milly Taiden
This is book two in series and about Avery that ends up in a female slave auction.
While there she bumps into The Elf King.
While on the auction block she kicks off and people bidding go crazy. The Elf King knows she’s his mate and bids higher then everyone but before he gets to her the auction is attacked by a mythical creature and Tylen runs off with Avery.
I absolutely love this series and really enjoyed this book especially with Avery thinking she’s in a video game.
I’m assuming this is a trilogy because it focuses on the three queens and I will be gutted when it comes to an end.

Pro gamer Avery Lotusmist kicks butt in the virtual world but in reality she is just a little bit spoiled. When her reality is shaken up and she ends up in a different dimension things get really interesting really fast. Avery is smart and kicka$$. It took me a little longer to warm up to the sexy elf king Tylen but as he woos Avery he stole my heart too. Another sweet and sexy tale from Milly Taiden

I found Avery a bit tiresome with her conviction that she was in a game, which went on too long.

That's a no for me. Some parts were SO bad I'd catch myself stopping to look off into the distance and question my life choices. The plot is fine enough but it's such a short story too that it seems crazy rushed.

Tylen and Avery's story .

Elves and magic and enchanted jewellery! Avery may be one of the fated 3 queens but she just has to deal with a little matter of Orcs, slavery, oh and an Elf King who wants to claim her!

Avery dealt with her very odd surroundings as if she was in a game, Dungeons and Dragons come ti life. Not a bad way to deal with very challenging new surroundings. Tylen, well he is one determined king. He gets a very hard time from Avery. She is NOT going to just fall at his feet, even if he thinks they are fated to be together.

Great read!
