If you like Elle Kennedy you’ll like this one. A lot of cameos from Off Campus and Briar U books. Definitely seemed to step up the spice. A lot happens in the last like 20% of the book so I wish that was a little more spread out. I’m also not sure if those events were handled well. Also Shane is half black which I feel like I missed in the first book so it seemed random in the way it was brought up and the conversation about racism was umm just okay. I know there has been criticism of Kennedy’s portrayal of POC characters before and I feel like maybe this was better (I def don’t think it was worse) but I’m white so not my call.

This book had such a good balance of plot, spice and romance. Elle Kennedy didn’t miss the mark on this one. This might be her spiciest book to date.

There was so much wit, humour and banter in this book and I absolutely LIVED for the cameos of my favourite Briar boys.

I hadn’t expected to cry so much either. This book had me bawling, especially towards the tail end. Elle had always tackled difficult themes and topics in her books, so I’m not surprised that this one was the same. In fact, this one felt like a more upscale version of The Deal and The Score from her original Off Campus series.

I absolutely LOVED this one. Definitely a must read!
