I struggled a bit to get through this. It dragged and it has a lot of storytelling on the side which in my opinion aren’t all relevant or necessary to the plot.

If you’ve read The Score, there’s a similar scenario that a character went through in this book, but this time it was handled more lightly. The actual event isn’t light in reality but the way it was glossed over was more to my liking because that in The Score threw me for a loop.

I love how straightforward Diana is, and I love her dynamic with Shane. I would say Elle Kennedy’s books seemed to have toned down a little compared to her original series in this universe.

I LOVE THAT EPILOGUE. I laughed so hard and I can just picture everything unfolding. So happy that the author included that small interaction at the end.
