Diana and Shane had a lot of likable moments, but I found their story too heavy overall. While the abusive ex gets charged and will likely face jail time, it just felt as though we are meant to believe because she’s strong she’ll get through it with the help of counseling. Add in the loss of his father, and the whole story becomes very sad. I personally struggled to keep reading through to the end.

don’t know what type of crack elle kennedy added to the book but I loved it, it was super fun & emotional. I was having a hard time keeping the tears in.
