Jaime recommended this book based off of my request for reads similar to the song “Dead Man’s Party” by Oingo Boingo and BOY DID THIS DELIVER!! This novel was an absolute blast and I could not put it down. I gasped. My jaw dropped. I teared up. I laughed. 10/10 recommend this book!
I am not going to be able to get over this book for a while.
SPOILERS AHEAD
At the beginning of the book you’re almost in on the secret of The Venue, you know that these people are going into something like Hotel California and they have no fucking clue, so you’re treated to an impeding sense of doom for the first third of the book while you wait for the shoe to drop, but once it does …. Better buckle the fuck up because you’re in for a wild ride!
The cynicism of the employees at The Venue was just the cyanide icing on the red velvet cake, which, BTW I’m not sure I’m gonna be eating for a goooooood while.
All in all, an amazing read!

A little lacking in character development for my taste personally but the plot was fun and I wasn’t bored at any moment during this. In fact, I had trouble with putting it down when I needed to go to bed lol.
