Wow is all I can say I really loved this book and the Epilogue really threw me and that why it's a 4.5 for me, I just was not expecting it at all and I guess maybe that's a good thing, but a really great book and I'm really looking forward to the second book for sure!
I was hooked from the moment I started to read this book, and I was quite surprised by how different it is from past books that I have read. Yes, they all are quite the same girl meets boy she falls in love, and ultimately something happens, and they either stay together or they don't. The details though are quite different. Such as how begins to fall in love with his co-writing partner while he is in a relationship with another girl. How he slowly begins his affair with Hannah all the while Bethany is on her vacation and unaware of what Matt is doing.
It was extremely hard for me to put this book down. I loved how realistic this situation can be, and a new insight on an author's perspective.

You'll find no hero here. Just one pathetic man.
The blurb had me at “meet online” so of course I was intrigued by this book and had to read it.
The story was nice (I wasn’t crazy about it, but it was nice) and the writing was above average, quite good in fact, although I found that the dialogues didn’t stand out that much and weren’t that original, but the prose had a nice flow and sometimes was even quite beautiful.
So the blurb wasn’t lying because Matt and Hannah do in fact meet online, but I was a little disappointed to see that they have just a few interactions over the net before taking the relationship to the next level. Also, it was all very clichéd, I mean the guy met on the internet could have been a 17-year-old fat student and the girl and old, wrinkly lady, but of course they aren’t, they are both young and gorgeous, the guy is super handsome, rich and famous and, of course, is into kinky stuff (because nowadays every regular Joe is into dom-sub kinky stuff, don’t tell me you didn’t know). The girl is beautiful and quirky (although we only know that because she says once that she's a gamer, and a nerd because she reads a lot.. uhm, okay), also, they end up living in the same state, what are the odds? But I mean this is a romance book, what did you expect? Also the guy is a control freak and a CHEATER, so I didn’t like him that much at the beginning (I only grew to like him toward the end).
I’d say I saw this book divided into 3 parts, the first part where they meet online, the second part where their relationship develops further – and let’s stop here for a minute. I found this part to be a bit boring, it just wasn’t interesting to see their interactions, sexual encounters and all that, and at times the only thing that kept me going was knowing that sooner or later all that would crumble down and I wanted to see that (because it was clear that things would crumble down at some point), which was the last part of the book, and thankfully made up for all the previous boring scenes. Frankly I did not expect the story to take a turn like that, but I was pleased that it did. It answered quite a few questions and things that didn’t seem to make sense were finally explained.
The book didn’t really end with a cliffhanger, and if it wasn’t for the very last page (which is the only clue we have that hints that the story isn’t over), this could have very well been a standalone. I don’t know if that one last page made me curious enough to read book 2, I guess we’ll see.

The Book took me by surprise. The story grabbed me from start to finish, albeit a little disturbing with the rough stuff, but interesting nonetheless.
I didn't expect it to tackle issues such as addiction and all that comes with it. The hero struggles to find happiness and she struggles to give it to him.
Maybe I am just sappy at the moment, but I enjoyed this extremely. The writing was so captivating and funny and sarcastic. I loved it. I am possibly rereading as I feel the writing style is something to be study and emulated somehow. Well done to the author.
I want to read the next two books but I am very hesitant. I don't want to be disappointed :(.

Thanks Netgalley for a free read in exchange for a review.
Amazing book, I had a great time reading this book. Scorching chemistry and such bitter anguish portrayed by both Hannah and Matt. It didn't take long for me to be sucked into this book. World building was phenomenal....felt like I was in the pages with the characters. Best kind of entertainment that I can hope for when I open a book! Overall five fabulous stars of entertainment. I want book two!

This was one of those book that I bought when it first came out because everyone kept badgering me into it. I loathe popular books. I have this nasty habit of reading them like three years after they were popular. 90% of the time I'm like "Whats the big deal." Well, I think I am totally late to this train but I totally see the big deal.
I went into this book with zero expectations. I had no clue what it was about. I was like eh, I guess, people are gushing I'm do it. Well, I'm gonna be honest, I couldn't put this dang books down. Every single characters sucks you in and I felt like I was a nosy neighbor looking through the front window at all their drama. And boy oh boy was their drama.
Now, I relate to this story on many levels. For one the author used--an author--with his name, to propel the angst and the plot. He wrote a writer so well. Because we are strange, we are creepy, and we are very introverted. The dude has a pet bunny he takes on walks with a leash. I walk my kitten around the backyard on a leash. Yep, I got it.
What really engaged me to the story is the two main characters met in a 'writers roleplay/chat room' That is how I met my husband LOL! I was thinking the whole time "Damn he got to it before me!"
The story had an element of BDSM that was woven so fine that I felt a level of respect for the author. You can tell he actually did research. He didn't just watch some youtube videos and call it good. You can tell. You hear that authors of wannabe BDSM, people in the lifestyle can tell when you wing it! And we DON'T like it!
But I digress.
As a whole the story was brilliant. I can't really say any more without giving away the meat, and the meat is very important to this wicked tale of lust, love, and forbidden desires. If you haven't grabbed a copy of this I highly recommend that you do!
